*There are two college entrance exams:  The ACT and the SAT.  EVERY Junior will take the ACT in April during the school day, paid for by the state of Tennessee.  We recommend taking the ACT again your senior year to those of you planning to attend college after graduation. 

*The SAT has three different sections: critical reading, math, and writing. The ACT has four sections: English, math, reading, and science with science optional.  Both exams are widely accepted by colleges.
