  • CSCC College Fair:        November 7th, 2025  8:30 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.

    On November 7th Columbia State Community College will be hosting a college fair with 4-year colleges, community colleges and vocational schools. Northfield Academy will be attending the College Fair from 9:15 – 10:00 a.m. and all student must ride the school bus to and from the event.  Virtual Academy my attend anytime during the event on their own, however they are wecome to ride the bus with NFA.

    *Permission Slips:   Virtual Academy seniors do not need a permission slip unless they are coming to Northfield to ride the bus with NFA. 

    • NFA students MUST have a permission Slip handed in with BOTH the principal’s signature and a parent’s signature.
  • FAFSA

    he 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form is now open at fafsa.gov. Completing the FAFSA form is a key to accessing federal, state, and institutional financial aid that can help cover the cost of college or career training. We strongly encourage all students to complete the form as soon as possible

    The deadline to register is November 3rdWhen the deadline passes…. It will be too late! Need help? Come on in or give us a call!

  • *There are two college entrance exams:  The ACT and the SAT.  EVERY Junior will take the ACT in April during the school day, paid for by the state of Tennessee.  We recommend taking the ACT again your senior year to those of you planning to attend college after graduation. 

    *The SAT has three different sections: critical reading, math, and writing. The ACT has four sections: English, math, reading, and science with science optional.  Both exams are widely accepted by colleges.
